Remote rock breaker control system

This system is designed for remote fragmentation of rock lumps from the remote operator’s workstation.

It consists of the following components:

PLC-based mining control cabinet (MCC, hard rock mining equipment) for locally and remotely controlled operations
Equipment for monitoring any breaching of the safety perimeter during the rock breaker operation
Video surveillance subsystem
Communication with the remote operator’s workstation
Battery back-up for the dispatching and monitoring system

The connection is provided using the existing communication lines
Connecting several local control systems and operational switching between them
Continuous communication control and automatic shutdown of the local control system in case of losing communication with the operator
Continuous monitoring of process equipment status parameters
Operating data transmission, processing, storage and display at the operator’s workstation
