CWS - collision warning system

The CWS system is designed for providing sound and light warning signals to underground equipment (locomotives, multipurpose machines, drills, load haul dump machines, trucks, etc.) operators about dangerous proximity to miners and other underground equipment.

CWS is used in shaft and ore mine workings.

Easy to install — easy to operate

Directional readers are mounted onboard underground equipment depending on the required number of control zones. The readers transmit signals to the onboard computer that informs the operator on which side personnel or transport is located.

CWS features:

powered from the onboard vehicle system;
OS: Windows Embedded;
sound and light indication;
simple and easy control using touchscreen display and onboard keyboard;
supports Ethernet, USB, RS-485, Wi-Fi, CAN and Digital I/0;
supports up to 7 control zones;
two versions of onboard computer design;
operation in heavy-duty conditions of underground workings and shafts.

CWS provides the following:

creating a radio coverage zone within the surroundings of mining machines;
detecting personal and transport tags inside the coverage area;
suitable for universal tags and compatible with the PTTCWS tracking system;
providing passenger registration onboard vehicles for personnel transportation;
IMPROVING TRANSPORTATION SAFETY of technological vehicles.

CWS structure and special characteristics:

transport radio modules for detecting and reading data from tags;
central onboard computed for data collection and display;
two types of onboard computer, intuitive interface and possible switching of displayed images;
display of identification data from detected tags;
