RMG802.15.4 Gas analyzer interface tag

RMG802.15.4 is designed to provide information exchange between a gas analyzer and mine multifunctional safety systems, aerogas protection and monitoring systems, or other compatible systems via the IEEE 802.15.4 radio interface. The tag is approved for use as part of portable gas analyzers manufactured by Aerotest, NPC ATB, and others.

Application area

RMG802.15.4 is an Ex-component with explosion-protection marking “Ex ia I Ma U” and “Ex ia IIC Ga U” in accordance with TR CU 012/2011 “On the safety of equipment for use in explosive atmospheres” and must be integrated into the enclosure of a gas analyzer or other compatible device with an ingress protection rating of at least IP54, used in:

underground workings of mines and ore mines and their surface structures, including areas hazardous due to gas and/or dust, in accordance with the requirements of industry Safety Rules;
explosive areas of premises and outdoor installations in compliance with GOST IEC 60079-10-1-2013, in accordance with the requirements of GOST IEC 60079-14-2013 and industry safety rules regulating the use of equipment in explosive zones.
